Vannacutt’s Rumored Return

There was a rumor on the site ShockTilYouDrop of a possible pre-quel to Jeff’s films, House on Haunted Hill and Return to House on Haunted Hill. The Asylum of Vannacutt would have Jeff’s character, Dr. Richard Benjamin Vannacutt in a more prominent role that would focus on his early days at the Vannacutt Institute before he haunted its halls.
There was talk of a possible idea for a Vannacutt-centered film mentioned by producer Erik Olsen in an interview with Jeff last year with the tentative title of The Revenge of Vannacutt, but nothing definite.
This is the first Jeff has heard of this project, so unfortunately, it’s just a rumor. The article has since been removed from the site.
