For anyone who’s only seen Jeff in horror movies or on Star Trek, I really recommend giving “The 4400″ a watch. He’s amazing as the quirky Dr. Kevin Burkhoff and the show itself is really well-written, interesting, and has great plot twists. It’s one of the only television shows I make a point of sitting down to watch every week.

There’s a character backstory for Kevin here to catch those up who have never seen the show previously. The relationship between Kevin and abductee Tess Doerner (Summer Glau) is incredibly sweet and charming, and finally gives Jeff a character with a chance to “get the girl.” I’ve lived vicariously through Tess on many occasions! *blush*

The finale airs tonight at 9pm on USA Network. With all the build-up this season, this ep especially is going to be incredible! For anyone wanting to catch up on this season’s Jeff eps, here is the schedule for September’s re-airings and here for October’s re-airings.

Jeff is in the following episodes:

Episode 1 - “Wrath of Graham”

Episode 9 - “Daddy’s Little Girl”

Episode 10 - “One of Us”

Episode 11 - “Ghost in the Machine”

Episode 12 - “Tiny Machines” (which originally aired on Jeff’s birthday! :) )

Episode 13 (finale) - “The Great Leap Forward”

For anyone just starting out on “The 4400,” all 3 past seasons are available on DVD. Jeff is in Seasons 2 and 3, as well as Season 4 (and let’s hope for a 5th season too!!!) :D

Kevin has become one of my absolute favorite characters of Jeff’s and last year I made him his own little songvid. You can view it here.

There is also a great little recent interview Jeff gave at ComicCon regarding “The 4400,” amongst other things. (Thanks to jfer21 for the link!) You can read it here.

I own both The Frighteners trading card set plus the set of Kevin Burkhoff cards Jeff mentions and scans of them will soon be in the trading card gallery for you to see! :)
