There is a great new interview with Jeff at The Colonel’s Crypt that focuses on his many diverse horror roles and his thoughts on acting. You can also listen to an excerpt from the original phone interview.
Let’s hope that Jeff’s upcoming film, Parasomnia gets a wide theatrical release so we can all enjoy it! Jeff has mentioned in another recent interview that he really wants to play a character in the Film Noir genre. Detective Garrett definitely sounds like something along those lines! I would love to see Jeff play a “hard-boiled” private eye (with some issues of his own to deal with) struggling to solve murder cases in a small town. It could even be shot in (simulated) grainy black and white. With a good script and a great director like William Malone, this would be an awesome vehicle for Jeff to finally get the recognition he deserves!
And Jeff, even though the industry hasn’t figured it out quite yet, all of us know you can play any role!
