The Doctor Dossier - Part 3
Dec 19th, 2007
Before I go on with the dossier, I have some rather sad news. It’s just been officially announced that one of Jeff’s shows, “The 4400″ has been cancelled. Creator and Executive Producer Scott Peters posted about it on “The 4400″ messageboard yesterday.
For anyone who hasn’t seen the show, Jeff played Dr. Kevin Burkhoff (check the first part of the “Doctor Dossier” for more information, and this post for some general info.) I count Kevin as one of my absolute favorite characters of Jeff’s, so it is with a heavy heart that I relay this news.
The show itself is (was…*sighs*) a wonderful mix of science-fiction and drama, with clever plotlines, great characters, and a wonderful arc running through it. I know Jeff truly enjoyed playing Kevin and it shone through so well in the character. I have very fond memories of the show as I was so involved in the fandom on livejournal. There will always be a little something missing on Sunday nights.
Thinking positively, we still have four wonderful seasons of the show, three of which are already on DVD, and one that will (hopefully!) be on DVD by springtime, so that’s something.
I think we all need a little prescription for happiness. Here’s another healthy dose of Jeff’s medical professionals!
